About

Amir Sadeghian

My name is Amir Sadeghian, and I’m a full-stack web developer based in Dallas, Texas. I am currently working as the senior software engineer at RazorRank. I obtained my master’s degree in Computer Science (Information Security) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where my research primarily focused on SQL injection mitigation and securing web applications.

During my bachelor’s program, I gained proficiency in various programming languages, including Python, Java, C#, VB.net, and PHP. I have always made an effort to stay updated with the latest web technologies and programming languages. In my spare time, I tutor computer programming, enjoying the opportunity to share my knowledge as a private tutor with my students.

As a software engineer, my goal is to create scalable, user-friendly software solutions that address complex business challenges. My interests include robotics, information security, and artificial intelligence.

In March 2016, I embarked on a robotics project called Suphra. The goal of this project was to build an autonomous car using an RC car. Throughout the development of Suphra, I gained valuable experience and improved my skills in Python programming and Linux. For the project, I used a Raspberry Pi for decision-making and car control. However, due to the Raspberry Pi’s limitations in CPU and memory, I decided to use a more powerful embedded computing board for my next project.

My new autonomous car project is called IntelAutoBot. In this project, I am using the Nvidia Jetson TX2 as the computing platform. The Jetson TX2 is a highly capable computer that allows the robot to perform complex tasks, such as image and video processing. For the chassis, I am using the Traxxas Slash 4×4 Platinum. I look forward to sharing updates on the progress of the IntelAutoBot project soon.
