About
My name is Amir Sadeghian and I’m a full-stack web developer based in Dallas Texas. Currently working as the lead software engineer at RazorRank. I obtained my master’s degree in computer science (Information Security) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. At Universiti Teknologi Malaysia my main focus of the research was on SQL injection mitigation and how to secure web applications.
During the bachelor program, I learned various programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, VB.net, and PHP. I always tried to keep myself up to date with the latest web technologies and languages. In my spare time, I tutor computer programming. I enjoy transferring my knowledge as a private tutor to my students.
My goal as a software engineer is to create scalable and easy to use software that solves complex business problems. I am interested in robotics, information security, and artificial intelligence.
In March 2016 I started a robotics project called Suphra. The goal of this project was to create an autonomous car using an RC car. During the build of project Suphra I gained many new experiences and I improved my Python programming and Linux skills. In project Suphra I used Raspberry PI for making decisions and controlling the car. Due to the limitation of resources such as CPU and memory on Raspberry PI, I decided to build my next project using a more powerful embedded computing board.
My new autonomous car project is called IntelAutoBot. In this project, I am using Nvidia Jetson TX2 as the computer. Jetson TX2 is a very powerful computer that allows the robot to do complex tasks like image and video processing. For the chassis, I am using Traxxas Slash 4×4 Platinum. Soon I’ll post more updates on the IntelAutoBot project.
